About The Event

Sure, you could write a puppet pilot script and beat down Hollywood doors trying to get it made, but that could take years! What if I told you there was easier way? It’s called the internet!

This workshop will give your the foundation and tools to build your own internet puppet show empire! We’ll look at some of the web’s best online puppet shows and then talk about how to make one of your own. Topics covered include planning and creating content, different distribution platforms (YouTube, Facebook, podcasting), and finding and connecting with an audience.

We’ll also talk different ways to monetize your show from merchandise to web monetization to monthly donations from fans. This is a lecture style workshop, so bring something to take notes with. The goal of the workshop is to expose you to the tools that you can use to get your own online puppet show off the ground! Everyone who attends will receive a PDF containing links to all the tools and web sites discussed in the workshop.
