About The Event
In this three day workshop, students will explore developing non-verbal, short-form puppetry with puppet artists and puppet slam aficionados Amanda Maddock and Tim Lagasse.
The class will culminate in an informal, invite-only showcase followed by a feedback session to allow the continued development of pieces beyond the workshop. Then, you will potentially be able to participate in the Aug. 31st Puppetzilla Puppet Slam. The theme of the slam is Hope/Hopelessness.
You are invited to bring ideas you'd like to develop or just bring your talents and brain to collaborate with others. Whether you're new to puppetry or have years of experience, this class will challenge you to grow as an artist.
